Last night we had a couple of house guests who were saved just in the nick of time from being euthanized, and are now on a transport heading to a rescue in New Jersey (crazy northeast always having room for more rescue dogs).
The doxie mix was absolutely adorable - I almost just didn't send her on the rest of her journey. The other guy, a lhasa apso, was quite nice, but he was SO sick - very snotty, sneezy, coughy...yuck. But he's safe now, and well on his way to getting healthy and finding a great home!
