So I've mentioned before that Craiglist is evil, right (see deaf boxer below)?
I was browsing on there again the other day, and I stumble across a pureBREAD (annoying misspelling by Craigslist idiots) Japanese Chin. He has been listed previously, and I suggested they contact Chin rescue, but apparently they weren't interested.
So I stepped in, "adopted" him, and am sending him off to Chin rescue myself! Deceiving? Maybe. But I'm more concerned that this fella gets to a safe home, and there are too many sketchballs on Craigslist.
So this is Gil. He'll be making his way to a foster home with Chin rescue sometime soon. He'll getting neutered Thursday, and hopefully will be on his merry little way soon!

Speaking of Craiglist sketchballs, listen to this other gem from this weekend.
I also saw an 8-month-old "special needs" Boston Terrier. And, like a dummy, I was going to get him too. Long story short(er), the lady selling him for $150 or two bags of Science Diet (crap) dog food said she ran a rescue. Said 'rescue' is apparently being investigated by the state for being sketchy. She bought this dog 2 days prior with the intention of breeding him (kind of the opposite mentality of someone running a rescue), and a quick google search shows she sold a litter in January too. She was 'rehoming' because he was sick, and she has another really sick dog at home (which I'm guessing she's going to breed too). She was going to do a background check on me and require that I show proof of neutering. Upon hearing the dog would be neutered (which is why we step into the Craigslist situations, so the dogs can't breed), and then realizing how freaking crazy this witch was, we decided to back out. Craziness.
I think Kyle is blocking Craigslist on our computers. Smart move.
