I super suck at keeping on top of blogging.
Anyway, so, things have been...shall we say, hectic around here.
Emma's still here and doing great. I have a feeling we're going to keep her. Kyle and I both keep dancing around the subject, but I think we both know the others' position on it. We still have Colby, but once he gets adopted we're going to see how Emma interacts in our house when it's just the permanent residents. Assuming she meshes well (particularly with crabby pants Rocco) when she doesn't have her living squeaky toy Colby to play with, I think Miss Emeline has found her home.
Tomorrow is her last day for her UTI meds, and her peeing has gotten much less frequent, which is so great! We've been working on using potty bells with her so she can let us know when she has to go out, and it's working really well. We've still had a few accidents, but they have mostly been our our fault.
I also think I want to enroll her in a training course soon. If we do keep her, I'm going to eventually have her take the Canine Good Citizen test, so we should start her out early!
