Yesterday was our third wedding anniversary. On one hand I can't believe it's been three years - it seems like we were just married last week. On the other, it feels like we've been together forever - well...we sort of have. We've been together over eleven years. :)
Above is probably my favorite wedding picture. My sister took it right after the ceremony when we were cracking up that the pastor pronounced our last name very, very wrong. The pastor we wanted to perform our ceremony had to cancel at the last minute, and so this guy (very kindly) stood in on a short notice. He was wicked old, very confused that Lizzi was our flower girl/ring bearer, and apparently had difficulty pronouncing our name. Some brides would have flipped out, but I thought it was hilarious.
We had a really wonderful long weekend together (5 day weekends are my kind of weekends!). We were supposed to go camping/floating, but the weather was looking pretty nasty, so we just decided to stay home instead. We were mildly productive, ate some really yummy food, and got to hang out with friends a lot - it was lovely!

We spent our actual anniversary at a fabulous Ben Folds concert on 9th Street. We've loved him for years and years, so it's hard to believe this was our first time seeing him live. And how I'm kicking myself for it now - he played SO many great songs, and really put on a incredible show. I can't wait to see him play again - the man is talented!
