What? I realize it's 5 days late, but so?
We had an overnight guest on Cinco de Mayo. My friend Michelle came across a beautiful boxer boy, but was unable to watch him due to a very new baby in the house. So she contacted me, and we ran over to get him.
Since we didn't know his name, we decided to name him something (for the night) with some Latin flavor. We went with Raul.
Raul was very well taken care of, and pretty well mannered, so we just knew he belonged to someone. He and Emma played for a little while, though she was less than enthused by him at first. Once she realized he would actually play with her, the two didn't stop until bed time.
We took Raul to the shelter the next morning in hopes that his owner would go there looking for him. Fortunately they did, and now the beautiful boxer boy has been returned home.
Good thing too, because Emma would have liked a playmate her size...
